The full moon in Sagittarius is here, or will be, at 4:45 am eastern time on May 31st. This moon may stir up old stories, asking you to look deeper at what is true. This is a meaningful time to ask yourself what you are willing to be bold and passionate about. To ask, what must be let go of to make space for what you want?
This is neither good nor bad. But it is pressure.
In the past two weeks, that pressure has been building for me. It is as though I can see something, just in the periphery. And it is giving me pause. Can I move forward? Am I brave enough? Can I find the energy? The answer to these things is yes. I can. I will. I am.
It’s the momentum that’s hard to find, though, isn’t it?
Perhaps you are like me. Old family wounds have come to the surface. Professional changes that aren’t moving fast enough. Exhaustion from all that the world is at the moment.
I plan to take advantage of the full moon tonight with a tarot spread for clarity.

Tarot Spread for Sagittarius Moon
Any time I do a reading for myself that feels bigger, greater than usual, I’ll start with a meditation to connect more intimately with myself, though that isn’t required.
The spread is read in two parts, totaling 5 cards. Pull these cards after the sun has set. First, pick a card that you feel best represents what you would like clarity on, or what you most wish for yourself. If you choose the latter, give yourself qualifiers (a specific situation during a defined period of time) so that the answers are clear to you.
Place the chosen card back into the deck. Shuffle. Now, with the cards face up, pull each one in turn until you find your chosen card. The card before your chosen card is what you must let go of. The card after your chosen card is what will aid you. Place the cards in front of you. Take a moment to read what is before you. Sit with it.

Now, shuffle the remaining cards. When you are ready, draw two cards from the deck as you normally would. The fourth card is the outcome if you act on this advice. You will place this beneath the cards you’ve already drawn, and to the left. The fifth card is the outcome if you do not. You will place this above the first three cards, to the right.
Read each outcome card individually, and then look at the total spread. Is there a pattern between the cards on the left? How do they speak to each other?

Now, read the cards on the right. What dialogue is between them? From here, you may choose to draw an additional clarifying card for the sets of two on either side, but only if you feel called to do so.
Take a moment to write down the cards in your journal, and a few words about what the reading meant to you. On the next full moon, look back at this spread and observe what’s changed.
